Colonel of the Regiment: 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards

I was enormously proud and honoured to be asked to become involved with Firing Line Ltd. This unique museum is designed to be highly innovative and interactive in providing access to the proud and distinguished service of 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards and The Royal Welsh which stretches over 300 years and continues in Iraq and Afghanistan today. It is quite right that we should ensure that their past and present history is preserved for future generations to understand why ordinary people are prepared do extraordinary things and carry out outstanding acts of bravery.
